Pastor Dean Jones, shared a message on eternal salvation. He expanded upon verse 28, Jesus speaking, And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. Stating that in verse 29, these that have been given eternal life were given to him by his Father. Pastor Dean, also reminded us that Jesus stated in verse 26, "But ye believe not, because ya are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
This does not free us to live our lives in any form or fashion taking advantage of the gift of salvation. Jesus stated in verse 38, the importance of our words and works working together in alignment with one another, bringing for the confidence in Truth. Through his works, that we would believe in Him and the Father as one.
