There’s something special that happens when you get in the trenches with others. When you work to provide a safe place for someone to heal, you become family. The thing about family is that it lasts forever.
These Little White Crosses are quickly made, for the most part of scrap material, covered with a coat of white paint and placed in front of your yard to declare a partnership and knowledge of Jesus. As of February 2011, we have distributed 1600 crosses.
Recently, an intercessory prayer team was formed to minister to the sick. This prayer team will go to home and pray for any one that requests prayer or will gladly prayer for any sick at the end of one of our services.
We firmly believe and practice James 5:14 -15. Members of this prayer team will meet with the sick any time day or night.
The benevolence team consists of 4 selected church members who discreetly meet specific financial needs of those in our church family and those in our community. In addition, Hilltop donates funds on a monthly basis to the Ashdown Ministerial Alliance to meet needs of those not affiliated with our church.
